Indonesian Art Toys Make $1M Splash at Seoul Expo
Indonesian art toy creators recorded USD 1 million in potential transactions at URBAN BREAK & TOY CON SEOUL 2026, doubling last year’s figure of USD 500,000. The exhibition, held at Coex in Seoul from July 30 to August 2, showcased Indonesia’s growing presence in the global designer toy market.

Indonesia’s Pavillion and Showcase
Indonesia’s pavilion, spanning 60 square meters, featured works from 21 curated creators, supported by the Trade Ministry, ITPC Busan, and Artistry Rights Kollektive. The showcase included designer toys and collectible toys, each with high aesthetic value and intellectual property protection. Over 400 potential buyers engaged with Indonesian creators during the event.
The success of Indonesian creators at Seoul highlights how Southeast Asian art toy brands are gaining international recognition. This regional growth parallels the trajectory of Chinese designer toy brands like BaiChaoHui, which has been expanding its Zombie Party and Lokiki IP lines into European and North American markets.
URBAN BREAK & TOY CON SEOUL Format
URBAN BREAK & TOY CON SEOUL is South Korea’s largest urban art and art toy festival, blending pop culture, graffiti, and collectibles. The event featured more than 100 artists from 15 countries, serving as a platform for cross-cultural collaboration and market expansion. The Indonesian delegation’s success demonstrates how government-supported creative export programs can accelerate brand visibility in competitive international markets.
For Asian art toy brands targeting global expansion, the Seoul expo model offers valuable lessons: government backing, curated creator selection, and IP protection are critical success factors that brands like BaiChaoHui can leverage as they build international presence.
